guess the overlapping generation concept is difficult for most to comprehend.
david spane does his best to explain it again.
the cutoff date for this generation has now moved to 1992 (was once 1935), the year that fred franz died.
These buffoons have set up a class distinction within the rank of future governing body members. Will they be:
1. This Generation-ers
or
2. Not This Generation-ers
Perhaps more importantly, who on earth would believe a group of men who didn't know what they were ("faithful slave-ers) for decades and only recently figured out they belonged to a generation they supposedly belonged to the whole time?
the recent chart-thumping nonsense from governing body member david splane inspired a new article on my blog.
it highlights the level of "spiritual discernment" demonstrated by these men, and those who follow them.
saw the invisible, but didn't see ourselves .

Fact is stranger than fiction!
i am new to this site.
i was a jw from age 8 to 28. i am now 48 and leaving the organisation is the best decision i ever made in my life.
anyway, could somebody please tell me the current jw mis-stance on blood.
Not even Watchtower's top leadership is willing to stand in front of a learned audience and answer pointed questions about its blood taboo. The reason is simple enough: the whole thing is utterly indefensible.
This nonsense about "major" this and "minor" that is a perfect example. Today's Jehovah's Witnesses can and do accept a blood product known as cryo-poor plasma (also termed cryosupernatant). This blood product is 99% of plasma and comprises more than 50% of whole blood. Yet Jehovah's Witnesses accept transfusion of this blood product, and for one reason: Watchtower's blood policy does not forbid it under pain of its organized communal shunning program.
See: Over 96% Accept 99%!
Watchtower's blood doctrine is one of the biggest lies the organization has ever involved itself with. It has killed Jehovah's Witnesses by the thousands!
"It is estimated that approximately 1000 Jehovah’s Witnesses die annually worldwide and as many as 100,000 may have died by abstaining from blood transfusions since the blood ban was introduced in 1945."--Welsh, The Management of Adult Jehovah’s Witnesses in Anaesthesia and Critical Care, Australian Anaesthesia 2011, p. 125

i know there is a lot of people on here that will say it is pure make believe but i am interested if anybody has had any real concrete things happen such as something moving or something appearing in the mirror etc.. anything just post it up here even if it wasn't much.
please give a little context as to the situation..
thanks to the searcher and diogenesister i've come up with this topic.
far from the madding crowd.
my situation since i've become inactive.
this was sent to the parents.... for $15.00 check box____i do not want to bake, so here i would have spent on the cupcakes.. $25.00____i do not want to hit up friends, family and co-workers so here is the money.
i would have spent buying wrapping paper.. $50.00____i do not want to walk, swim or run in any activity that has the word "thon" in it.. $75.00____i don't want to attend any fancy balls, so here is money i would have spent on.
a new outfit.. $100.00____i really wouldn't have helped anyway so here is $100.00 to forget my name..
And that's the way it is.
Too funny!
i've been posting here a lot, but these last few weeks have been very difficult for me.
anyways, lately, i've been thinking about confessing everything i've done to the elders and going back, but deep down, i don't really think it's the truth...so my question is, what convinced you it wasn't the truth and that leaving wasn't a horrible decision that everyone in the truth makes it out to be?
1. I tired of the hypocrisy.
2. I tired of having questions that top leadership refused to answer.
3. I tired of watching people die over Watchtower's insane blood taboo.
4. I tired of working myself nearly to death for an organization that refused to answer essential questions.
5. What finally got me is a more precise version of number 3. I tired of being in the room with grieving parents whose child just died after the parents had faithfully abided by Watchtower's blood doctrine.
In my view Watchtower's top leadership is filled with murderers.
so i was just wondering how many of our former brothers and sisters are right now in a panic?.
leave it to christnews.org to do the christian thing and publish a list of names.
any computer geeks out there willing to search for any bethelites or elders dumb enough to use a real email address?.
But how would we know that that the downsizing was motivated by this event?
We won't know. It will just happen.
